The Mlk Money bomb is a great idea but I just don't feel the excitement for it like I did for the two other ones. We need more advertisement for it MORE YOUTUBE VIDEOS MORE YOUTUBE COMMENTS MORE MYSPACE BULLETINS! anything that you can think of. I just have a feeling this Money Bomb is going to be a big let down but we can change that. You know what They say the third time is a charm so let's make it a charm.

Me either! I wish people would become a bit more enthusiastic. It seems to be in the background this time around, instead of the BIG thing like the first two. Wasn't there a whole forum for 2 weeks before the money bomb on here? I'm not sure anymore.

I actually see this money bomb helping in a number of ways:

1) More money
2) Some publicity

and most importantly at this time

3) It shows people not familiar with the campaign that Ron Paul and his supporters have alot of admiration for Dr. King. This will hopefully show people that Ron Paul is not the racist that the bogus papers say he is. I do believe that the hitjob did damage the campaign some, hopefully this will help.

i was doubting the utility of continued donations to the centrally-planned campaign; but the smear jobs this week have convinced me to give this upcoming Lee-Jackson King Day...

This one isn't going to be close to the last one though. IMO

I thought that the purpose of this was not to see how much money we could raise, but to see how many people would donate. That is why it is a minimum of $10.

eh, the problem was so many people were like "hey, lets have a money bomb this weekend!" or "hey, lets give a weekly paycheck to ron paul!" etc. this one hasnt had that much time to boil in the pot yet. i predict just over 1 million

If the MLK money bomb is not as successful as prior ones, you can Depend on media either 1) not reporting on this one and/or 2) seeing it as a failure compared to the previous two donations and postulating that it's due to the smear-stories recently.

Also, maybe it's just me, but I have not seen as many creative, enthusiastic Videos available throwing out support and the message for the event.

Am I missing something here? Enthusiasm and buzz is absolutely essential to keep these events afloat, not to mention each one spreads the word about paul and brings new patriots to the movement.

Did the "Benjamins..." moneybomb ever decide to merge with the MLK one?

I have to disagree with the OP. I was not here for either of the original money bombs... and I CAN NOT WAIT to participate! in both the money bomb itself and in the march. RON PAUL and MLK??? Are you kidding me?

Listen, I've learned in life that every moment is a choice. Every decision is a choice to live in fear or love at that moment. I CHOOSE the positive, and have lived a life more blessed for it.

I have to believe there are MANY new people to this campaign just like me. The search volume on Google Trends kinda proves that. Make this board a positive place to be, please. The world is watching, and your choices matter.

CHOOSE to make this money bomb; the celebration of MLK, and the candidacy of Ron Paul, as the MOST CELEBRATED, BIGGEST Union of modern thought in this nation's history... and it will be. It's as simple as that. All politics are local, and all decisions are personal.

LIVE BIG! GIVE BIG! GO RON PAUL!!

Agreed. This will be my first time donating as well. Get rid of this negative BS or GTFO ...ok that sounds hypocritical but you get the idea.

go ahead and bookmark these sites..

and
http://ronpaulgraphs.com/index.html

and they'll probably have a page specifically for the MLK money bomb so you can watch it unfold. It was awesome to watch the donations pour in for the last two.

I agree. That and I'm not sure, but I'd be willing to bet that we're not getting as many new supporters as we were maybe a month ago. With the two primaries behind us that didn't go too well and constant media smearing. We need to keep on converting.

I think two 5th place finishes might have something to do with it.

The level of success of these events can be explained in one word: critical mass....... (OK 2 words....lol)

Nov. 5th was a pure fluke, but it hit a chord. Dec. 16th was well orchestrated, and caught the imagination of the true Paul supporter.

Jan. 21st has potential, but on a completely different level. (A really HUGE level).... We'll see.

Here's my little addition:
