Thank you Ron. If he really doesnt know about being linkd to the 9/11 truth movement, then we're in more trouble than I thought

I really hope that he was just trying to play it down.

Glad he came out with a strong statement like this

Guess he hasn't been reading the Hot Topics section of our forum. :D

Good to clear it up, hopefully people won't spend any more interview time on that issue.

Actually I hope reporters do keep asking it because many people still think that Ron paul is a 9/11 truther. Both Malkin and Gibson have repeatedly said it

We have to do something with this in the comments.

It could be that the lunatic fringe might be out to GET him if he denies the 9/11 links that they say are there or could simply be a way to show somehow that he is a flip-flopper.

I wish he would simply just kill this thing and tell everyone that:

He doesnt trust govt to investigate itself

He believes there was an increddible breakdown by the govt and heads should have rolled, and they didnt sugesting coverup

The US govt is far too inept to pull this off without everyone knowing

The reason the 9/11 truthers support me is I am one of the only ones who have stated clearly that I support a fully independant investigation completed by truly qualified researchers to end all of the open questions.

Please, we probably should take this more seriously. I think a lot of people find the official story to be at least questionable at this point, but that doesnt mean that we think that someone as "capable" as the BUSH admin. could have really pulled this off??? Get real.......

I am shocked that he didn't know that he was being tied to the 911 truth movement, both by the movement and those like Malkin. Someone in the campaign sure isn't doing their job. They should have advised him long ago.

We don't have to do anything. This doesn't matter! It's a win for everyone. While he says he doesn't think the government is involved he does support reopening the investigation so we can see where we messed up. This works perfectly because if Ron is right we'll know who to hold accountable, and if the investigation uncovers that it was in fact an inside job then so be it. Either way he supports getting the questions of 9/11 answered.. he's just coming from a different angle on it.

The truth movement isn't going to attack him, and the media isn't going to be able to label him a "9/11 nut job". PERFECT!!

So lets just drop it. In fact anyone who keeps harping on this issue is probably doing so with harmful intentions.

There are better things to focus on- we already know everyone is getting what they want!! DROP IT IF YOU SUPPORT RON PAUL!!!

It says Paul would be inclined to impeach Bush.

That's hot! I didn't know that.

Very good points! And those in the truth movement have recently toned it down, and understand better not to mix the RP with 911 truth in public. At first they might have been too agressive in their association.

But, I also do not like when people in this movement attack each other for their beliefs on this very important issue including those who love to label anyone who doesn't believe in the botched 911 comission report as "911 conspiracy kooks". This is immature and can alienate allot of people in their efforts ifor this campaign, those who may contribute their time or money translating to votes. The truth is there are an unbelievable number of truthers and fence sitters here.

The truth is were all going to be called kooks over and over for supporting the man who best represents liberty. Its just the reality of how ass backwards this country has become. When republicans resemble socialists, and they can't see it themselves, there is a problem, lol.

I want as many people in this movement as possible, be it truthers, tax protesters, real id act protesters, immigration protesters, federal reserve protesters, socialized health care protesters, war protesters. There may be 1 or 2 issues I disagree with, but when you look at all these issues, they add up. For me, it was the war, err invasion, that pissed me off enough to do some soul searching. Its pretty safe to say, that one thing that unites us is our lack in faith for the government and its endless, overereaching expansion into our every day lives.

So there are better things to focus on, like waking people up to the message of liberty. We shall march on.
