I have been looking for solid explanation on this. There is so much scattered stuff on the net.

Well if yourlike a lot of people you might be trying to use Windows Movie Maker but that doesn't natively support Flash Video, so if you are using WMM then you need a backup. The bad part is that all of the Video Editing software for Windows costs money some even run into the $1000s. You could try a cheap editing software or Linux(It has like 4 excellent free video editing apps).

Use an conversion app like Total Video Converter and resample the video from .flv format to any of a host of different file formats your editing software supports.

Thank-you, yeah I used Microsoft Movie Movie Maker with a converter to convert the flv files to wmv. This is what I came up with for my 1st video.
