Strait Times reporter Anthony Paul asked Musharraf: "If the Americans came, would you treat that as an invasion?"

"Certainly," Musharaff said. "If they come without our permission, that's against the sovereignty of Pakistan."

He said if there is good intelligence that bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan "the methodology of getting him will be discussed together and we'll attack the target together."

Why is this so difficult for Americans to understand? They put this man in power against the will of the people, they gave him billions to assist us in capturing terrorists, he spent it fighting with India. The above statement should have been a condition for any foreign aid to the Pakistani government. It's too late now.

I remember in school being fed criticism (deservedly so) about the Soviet Republic's undue influence on other nations by setting up puppet governments. I can't remember being taught any information about our own CIA doing the same thing. Only as an adult did I learn all the things my Government was doing with my tax dollars.
