Only 5,700 people have signed up so far? How can this be?

Voters.RonPaul2008.com

Please, everyone, if you haven't signed up yourself do it. If you have signed up yourself make sure that every single person you know who supports Ron Paul has signed up also.

Here in Illinois the campaign is going to start using the notes from the precinct leaders to start making phone calls on Monday. It is vitally important that we get these precincts covered as soon as possible.

"This is the single most important thing you can do to help the campaign" - Ron Paul's congressional chief of staff.

Yeah, they actually just did another security update last night and it caused a few more bugs to come out of the program. According to the guy heading it up it should be running very, very well now.

We have 400+ in Illinois but that still isn't nearly enough. Phone calls are going to start going out from the national campaign based on the results of these lists starting Monday.

Someone jumped the gun on this -->I got my call last night. I think it is great though.

I just don't know how I can do it (I am working 2 jobs right now 7days/wk plus 2 kids). I told the woman who called me that I would be contacting the people in my area's meetup group.

I figure that 2 or more people looking at a problem can come up with more ideas on how to solve it.

Thanks for everything you are doing!

I'm not signed up at any site. I am a PC in my state though.

But you are two months too late in Arizona. Anyone signing up now in AZ only gets to help out the GOP, you cannot vote for delegates for Ron Paul. You missed the deadline.

A deadline no one told us about.

Does the campaign not know that what they are asking is futile in a lot of states? Do they not know the deadlines? Don't they have one person responsible for finding this stuff out?

We, well make that three of us, worked day and night for a week to get 300 people signed up in AZ. We ran to district leaders houses with applications. We called every Ron Paul supporter we could get our hands on. We even helped fill out applications for people too lazy to do it themselves and wrote emails for them because even that was too much for them to do. But we did it. We got 300 people to become precinct committeemen. We did this all by Dec. 5. The deadline was Dec. 31. Then we found out that the true deadline was weeks earlier because a board had to approve them and they don't meet in December.

We lost 300 PCs because the campaign fell down on the job and didn't know this deadline and no one told us.

Sorry, still really bitter about this.

So tired of everything happening two months too late.
