On MySpace search for Ron Paul then type in your city. Look at each person to see if they have Ron Paul as a friend.
Then "Add" them as a friend and send an email about your Meetup group and upcoming events. This works! Several of our best members came into the group this way here in Florida.

Here is another story:
---------------------------------------------

"I just got really excited about this and I wanted to share. I got 5 new members to join our group today by using MySpace. Still waiting to hear back from many more as well... I'm so happy! Someone was talking about it yesterday on the conference call, and I tried it and it worked.

yay!"

Another email about sign waving:

"Today on the Pensacola side of
the 3 mile bridge, 4 of us handed out,
to people that had their hand out the
window asking for our slim jim flier,
900 pieces!!!! We had great honks,
yells of RP, thumbs up, etc.
The negatives were really minute!!!
Only 5, one obame, one hillary, two
fingers, and one imigration issue toss
back.
Allready tonight, one new member. More
tomorrow. A great day, a great response,
the loud speaker from a passing truck
"Ron Paul for Pres." was the best.
I will never be apprehensive about getting
out for this type of thing ever again!!!!!
Only 4 people,!!! My God, what we did was
beyond great!!!"

This is a great idea. I just spent the past hour and a half combing through Myspace pages for Ron Paul supporters. I've been able to find quite a few here in Tallahassee Florida from Myspace! Thanks!

This is a really good, idea, I'm going to try it.

Was thinking also for those that don't want to do Call Iowa or Mail Iowa maybe doing a myspace search for "Republican Iowa" or something similiar may bring some results and we can spread Ron Paul's name that way as well.

I just signed up for myspace and am trying to add Dr. Paul as a friend. I have no idea what I'm doing as I thought I'd never sign up for myspace. But here I am. Can anyone let me know how to do this? Thanx

this works... i used to send out emails for a band i used to work for on myspace :) got thousands of friends, and a lot of good responses. anyone who isnt interested can simply not approve you!

just have to make sure we aren't duplicating our efforts somehow though ?
