I can't find any bills to the effect of opting out of it on google or anywhere from your state.

Yea, but who needs flying when you have sweet tea, a front porch and a rocking chair.

yeah but then you wont be able to fly anywhere...

exactly. the feds are gonna play hardball and say, "ok, well, your ID is no good to get on a plane." Personally, I think the states should call their "bluff" and let the s---storm ensue.

would be interesting, to say the least.

Flying for now, but what other services will they threaten to pull? No highway funds? Maybe since banks are covered by FDIC they will require "RealID" to use ANY banking service? Its a slippery slope people, we give some now and will lose all later.

I'm from Alabama, I don't give a crap about flying.

I'm worried about losing my driving priveledge if I do not accept the damn card.
I assume my Drivers set will be the new Real ID just with Alabama stamped on it right?

If I refuse the card sooner or later I will be stopped and hauled away and tortured in a concentration camp right?
Because I will be or could be a Tearst if I don't comply.
I think they will want to make sure I'm not a Tearst.

If ALL the states would pass legislation, then it wouldn't be a problem. Do you REALLY think that the govt. is going to sink the airlines?

Any state that doesn't require REAL ID should allow small, private airlines to operate out of their airports and allow anyone to fly on those airlines to other states that don't require REAL ID.

I'm sure they will put some 'alledged terrorists' in SC so that state is proven to be UNSAFE. And then people will support it.

Hell I should go work for them I have great ideas...

Yeh, but they are not calling it a National ID..right now they are calling it a Drivers License. The state needs to guard against this too. NC got them first and have them NOW,

My state makes me proud time and time again :)

Just a temporary setback for the globalists. They'll find a way, change the name most likely.

There are like 34 states against the REAL-ID...... This site has a map where you can see the status of your state.

I'd really like to see states hold their ground and not comply nor file for an extension.
