One, After Michigan, ROMNEY IS OUT

Two, After SC, Thompson is OUT

Three, After Florida, Giuliani is OUT!

And we have only 2 war mongers left to deal with

How? They both are nearly out of money from supporters.

Romney knows he cannot win the middle class, low income, young, black, hispanic, or independent vote. Thats nearly 85% of the electorate right there. Hes done, and he will simply not spend anymore of his own money on this "bad investment"

Rudy has been poor showing in every state thus far, has no money..so he has no choice but to drop out otherwise he becomes a joke and WILL be humiliated on Super Tuesday. Heck, he even trails McCain in the most recent poll in NEW YORK by 2 points!

I think all this depends on MI and SC primaries. Rudy is down in both of those but Romney is about 2nd or 3rd. I can see Rudy dropping but not Mitt.

Romney has more delegates and more money than anyone else running for the GOP nomination.

Doesnt matter, hes NOT APPEALING! hes a liberal socialite from super liberal massachussetts. He doesnt have much more donated funding, and he now has to spend his own. He hasnt won a primary nor will he. The man simply doesnt have appeal, and that is his undoing.

Right now it looks like a McCain Huckabee show. My bets is they join on the same ticket after the convention with Huckabee the VP. Dr. Paul will be by himself so now is the time to announce a VP to help him campaign in states leading up to super Tuesday. Walter Williams would be a good choice as that would bury the letter issue.

If he doesn't have appeal, then why has he done so well in the first two primaries? He's good looking and a smooth talker....that alone is enough to convince our mildly retarded electorate.

You are dreaming if you think Rudy or Romney will ever drop out. It's more likely that Huck or McCain will drop out despite their early wins.

Romney has a personal net worth of like $250mil. I am pretty sure he can hang until the end.

Lots of candidates in the race is good! They all spread out the neocon vote and make the bar lower for us.

Even if Romney comes in dead last in Michigan, he'll just write himself a check and move on to the next state.

Thompson is the only candidate who is likely to drop out if they do horrible in SC.

How do we know how much money each of the candidates have in their war chests right now?

If Rudy doesn't win Florida he drops out. Otherwise he's in it for the long haul.

Romney is not going to drop out! He does have appeal, like someone said for the good looks and smooth talking. The tv zombies in general don't know about his record and when they hear a smooth explanation of something in his record when brought up they want to believe him. Basically, the duped Reps turn a blind eye to these guys, since socialist stuff in their records has been brought up.

He has done well so far, too, and has money coming out the ying yang. Thompson I see dropping and soon, but then again there may be pressure on him to stay in in. Guiliani? I don't know, I see him wanting to stay in there. Ron Paul isn't polling high now either according to land line polling of past Rep primary voters, but has the money and the support.

Romney and Giuliani will stay through at least Super Tuesday. Probably they all will. McCain of course as well but if he doesn't do well he has no money to continue. Basically everyone is in now until SuperTuesday after which only those with money will be left standing. That could narrow the field down to only one or two basically, probably Giuliani and one other. Giuliani is AIPAC's favorite, even above Hillary, so he won't run out of funds if he can do half decent on Super Tuesday.

The bottom line is nr. of delegates. If it is Paul against one other Empire Neocon then at that point he might start pulling in more delegates from the post Super Tuesday states and then going into the convention he has a shot at being the #2 delegate-wise.

If he does poorly there, Thompson may be out after SC. If Giuliani places below 3rd in FL, he may start re-evaluating, but he isn't going anywhere until after ST. Everyone else, with the possible exceptions of Hunter and Keyes (is he even on the ballot or still in?), are in at least through ST, no matter what happens between now and then. There will be pressure on Thompson and Judy to get out, though, if Paul keeps showing them up, so that they can justify excluding the good doctor from future debates.

My sister is a Baptist in SC. They hate Huckabee. I think the SC evangelicals may be turning. I got 4 converts today with a manifesto type email explaining how the economy, war, gas prices, inflation, immigration, and Fox News are the real problems with this country.

Personally, I hope Judy stays in, and that everyone else is forced to drop out, by scandals, finances, or poor performance. Rudy is our ideal mano-y-mano opponent.

I've always believed that, once the news got around on Huckabee, my Christian brothers would see the light, and turn to Dr. Paul. So far, they've been a grave embarrassment to me. I hope you're right about the tide turning.

Not a chance Ron Paul wins on Super Tuesday - but I'm hoping for an Alaska and NV win soon :)

Not true - he is not uber-rich. If he can't win, he won't waste the money. He got rich for a reason and it was not for being dumb.

Yeah. I don't think Rmoney will gamble more than he reasonably believes he can recoup.
