Ron could, in a commercial or in a debate quote exactly what the constitution says, explain clearly how it's not being followed, explain that America needs to return to the constitutional standard, and prove his points...Then say for example on the issue of constitutional money and explain that oil would be roughly the same price it was in the year 2000 which is about $25/barrel...And then explain what gas prices were back then and explain that if we had constitutional money what the approximate price of gas would be today...That'll wake some folks up. It will really resonate!
He did this to some extent..However, Ron's known of these things for such a long time and he may assume that folks are more in touch than they really are....A little more simple explanation with the contrast in prices would help alot of folks understand that aren't able to grasp what he's saying... Here's the chart Ron referred to in the ABC debate...Very Interesting....If we were on the gold standard, the oil price would be ALOT lower...So would gas prices.
