Is Any Publicity still good Publicity?

Back months ago, many of us believed that any publicity is good publicity, because at least it will get people to pay attention to Ron Paul and maybe google him later. After this past weeks events, do you believe that this is still the case at this point?

I'm pretty sure that statement is not 100% correct, remember the "Dean Scream".

The problem with lies is they can backfire. Many folks look deeper into the lies about Ron Paul only to really find out what he is like. Suddenly we have a new supporter. His messages and his character speak for themselves.

I agree there will be a few folks who won't dig deep enough. Can't win everyone. One step at a time, one man at a time.

I especially want to hear from people who think that this specific media incident is actually positive for us, and how so?? It will at least make me feel better.

And if you think it hurts us in the long run, explain why as well.
