He said (in the video) that he just recently heard of Ron Paul a couple days ago while watching FOX News with his wife, and that he agreed with "everything he said". So, I think it would be great exposure. But after looking up Stern's show on Wikipedia and considering the types of things they do, I don't think the campaign would approve of it.

What do you guys think?

Hard call. I'd say if Stern was still on the airwaves penatrating a larger audiance, it may be worth it. But being on satelite, his audiance is only a fraction of what it was and the Stern name tagged to Paul may have a negative effect being Stern had his fair share of rabid nonlisteners.

I think a phone call would be OK... don't know if he needs to be in the studio.

I think Sirius is up to 7mil subscribers, and a good majority of them are because of Stern. Would it have negative consequences in the media? Yes, but we're pretty used to that. Do people listen to everything Stern has to say? Hell Yes!

He got a five hundred MILLION dollar deal with Sirius. Howard Stern has a huge following.

RP should definitely go on Stern if he can. He's (almost) always nice to politicos.

He seemed to like the emails that the Paul supporters sent him. What email address do we send them to? We should send more.

On howardstern.com there is a contact link which directs comments to Tracey Millman. I think most of the e-mail discussed on the show is from there.

Arizona early ballots will be mailed out starting today and tomorrow, and Maricopa County alone will be mailing out 240,000.

We need to personally call each and every one of these voters to ask for their vote. This is like calling somebody while they're standing in the voting booth, and to reach everyone we need more help!

If you have any time available between now and next Monday, January 14, please send an email to azballotchasers@gmail.com with your name and how many hours you can volunteer. An Arizona win is within our reach, and we need your help!

Howard was on Letterman Thursday night. Letterman was actually asking him who he supported, and he said he wasn't going to make any endorsements until it is down to 2 or 3. Letterman actually mentioned Ron Paul, so I got my hopes up, but it was a non-starter that time.

Really? That would have been golden if Stern said Ron Paul right then.

Yeah, I created a thread about this after it happened. Dave mentioned Ron Paul but I'm pretty sure Howard didn't hear him as he began speaking just as Letterman said it.

I was a little bummed.

Yes, Howard's show is pretty raunchy BUT a lot of us Ron Paul supporters are also Stern fans and Sirius subscribers.

And . . . Howard can be trusted to conduct a good and proper interview respectfully -- especially considering that he already likes and admires Dr. Paul.

I'm posting a link to the Howard audio clip (YouTube has removed the clip from their site) as well as contact information for the Stern Show.

Just click on the pic.

By the way, I should add that Howard Stern has already interviewed quite a few famous politicians in the past including:

• Mayor Rudy Giuliani

• Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger

• Senator Alphonse D'Amato

• Gov. George Pataki

• and numerous Congressmen.

Hell guys! I live in CANADA and I WANT TO SEE RON PAUL WIN!

Yes, I would. His listeners and target audience are probably most related to the rest of us - his message would RESONATE...

I know the interviews you mean — those ARE fake — and funny!

But before Arnold became governor, he was a frequent guest on Howard's show — anytime he had a new movie to promote, he'd come in.

I have a few of those REAL interviews on old cassettes which I recently converted to mp3s along with over rwo thousand other Stern shows.

All contact info is posted at the link below.

Email! Phone! Write!

Stern fans will remember that fan pressure works.

Remember when the "Tickle Community" started emailing him to have him tickle Pamela Anderson's "pretty feet."

On David Letterman's Show a couple days ago, Stern said he liked Guiliani

I saw that and it was really a lukewarm response.

Yes, when Rudy was mayor, Howard supported him wholeheartedly.

But Howard does not see eye-to-eye with Giuliani on Iraq.

So I doubt that he'd actually vote for him.

It's OUR job to get Howie behind Dr. Paul.

It's interesting to observe the reaction of Stern fans to the suggestion of having Ron Paul on Howard's show.

I started a thread over there at SternFanNetwork.com yesterday and there have been over 2000 views so far

The majority of them are quite enthusiastic and more than a few have already emailed Howie's show. Of course there are a few nagative responses — mostly from dullards who prefer to hear vapid strippers and porn stars riding the Sybian.

Here's the thread for anyone who wants to check it out:

Ralph called in on Thursday and asked Penn Jillette {of Penn and Teller fame) who he liked in the upcoming election. This led to a brief discussion of Ron Paul

The comment that I liked was "He's not unelectable if we all vote for him!"

I gave up on this idea, despite HOW MUCH SENSE IT MAKES.

Somebody from the campaign told me "if his producers contacted us we'd think about it." That's when I said fine, whatever.

When I run for president I will credit Dr. Paul for his philosophies and influence but I will run a much more media savvy campaign.
