View Full Version : Crowd microphones to emphasize boo response to Ron Paul?

At 2:03 notice the background noise from the crowd (feet shuffling, coughing, throat clearing, etc) get really loud then fades again when Romney begins to speak.

It is as if they were anticipating a Boo response after Ron's answer about Iran and wanted to milk it up by turning up the crowd microphones, although there was no crowd response.

It is an awfully strange crowd response otherwise. It almost sounds like muffled laughter, but nothing was funny, or are they muting and muffling applause?

Ok, I dont want this to come out the wrong way.

I hate Fox News, with a passion Just like everyone else here. We all know they are a joke and trying to knock Ron Paul down.
If it is not one thing they did wrong, its another. We will never be satisfied by their coverage.

There needs to be an end to all these endless topics...It doesn't do us any good. Fox News Snubs Ron, plain and simple...lets spend our time doing something else than finding every possible way Fox News could have done something better.

Professional audio processing will usually have something called a signal compressor. This automatically adjusts the output audio level pending the input level. So no it was probably just sloppy and not intentional.
