how about a drive to help wounded or disabled Iraq War vets? The families of deployed soldiers? Seems like a very Texan-worthy cause to me!

I'm about 3 hours from San Antonio, but unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this weekend. :(

If someone from San Antonio is willing to get it off the ground, I'd be happy to contribute to the effort.

What are the orgs that keep track of needs within families of deployed soldiers? Is there such a thing?
