So-called "libertarian" Larry Elder is criticizing Ron Paul right now on KABC. He is reading excerpts from the infamous newsletters. Most of what he is reading was obviously not written by Ron Paul. Ironically, most of the non-racist stuff Elder would agree with. But he's acting as though everything is outrageous. He also equated opposition to Israel with opposition to Jews. Two of Ron Paul's heroes are Jews. Murray Newton Rothbard and Ludwig von Mises. Now he is selectively playing clips from the Wolf Blitzer interview. Of course, he didn't mention his opposition to the war on drugs which disproportionately hurts black Americans. He also brought up Gary North, who worked on his Congressional staff. Gary North is a theocrat, fair enough.
