PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A tech company with ties to a school district plans to test a tracking system by putting computer chips on grade-schoolers' backpacks, an experiment the ACLU ripped Monday as invasive and unnecessary.

They are training the litle kiddies to grow up in this kind of world, where people are tracked and inventoried like cattle.

I saw a news story a year ago (and wish I saved it!), that said the US government has commissioned a company to make 2 billion id chips to implant in human beings..

My questions are-

1. Why make so many of them?

and

2. If these chips are for everyone, why make only 2 billion of them and not 6 billion ?
