To the Ron Paul Campaign Committee:

I, like many across this great land, have put my heart, soul, time, and money into supporting Ron Paul's candidacy. Our collective sacrifices made thus far have been enormous and remarkable. We are willing and happy to do this for our country as we, like Dr. Paul, believe in the Constitution and the blessings of liberty.

We have stood on our soap boxes telling our family, friends, and neighbors about our country's plight and the cure that Dr. Paul offers. We have taken up this cause by using the ballot box as a peaceful way to reassert the supreme law of the land. We pray that the nation does not descend into a state of complete totalitarianism which would leave us with only the ammo box to reclaim that which so many have given so much for so long.

With the accusations of vote fraud in New Hampshire, we who support Dr. Paul are confused about the Campaign Committee's silence on this issue. Despite our requests for your position, no position has been issued. As the deadline to apply for a recount is only hours away, your opportunity to respond is rapidly ending.

It is unreasonable to expect the continuance of the grass roots' heroic efforts if the votes - the fruits of those efforts - are allowed to be stolen. Your silence inevitably invokes questions of competency and motives. Therefore, I implore you to issue a statement to your supporters. Are you going to demand a recount in New Hampshire? If not, what reasons exist for not taking this action? We are willing to listen but we are not willing to be ignored.

For all that we've done and for all we'll be willing to continue to do to put Ron Paul in the White House, a statement on this issue from the Ron Paul Campaign Committee is but a small request, indeed.

He acknowledged the possibility of voter fraud.

He can't ask for a recount, that would paint him as fringe and a cry baby.

A NH republican recount is in the process, a different canidate is requesting one. Donate at the granny warriors site to help him pay the $67,000 it is going to cost.

Even if the recount comes back as Paul winning 3rd, Huckabee already got the free media from the initial results...the media may make a correction, but the fact they haven't questioned what we have already proven with the Sutton votes, should show us even if a recount shows Paul getting 1st, the media will downplay it.

If Paul changes places with Huck for third it would be HUGE HUGE news. There is no way anyone could not report on it. But I don't think there was any fraud and if there was it won't be found.

This is true unfortunately.

If sufficient evidence of vote fraud exists, demanding a recount is essential!!! Who gives a sh*t what the MSM says. Any thinking person would see the necessity of preserving the integrity of the vote! Otherwise, we are all wasting our time getting votes that will be stolen.

We're only asking for an official statement from the campaign committee.

How does a recount work?

1. Where are the ballots now?
2. Are they paper ballots that are electronically scanned into a machine?
3. Lets say Huckabee had pauls votes, how would they fix that problem on a recount? Add 4,000 ballots for huckabee?

In addition to the Recount, RP volunteers are needed in places like Strafford, NH where the 2007 straw poll was dramatically different than the primary. (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=87071)

One small group of RP supporters in Strafford could make the difference- before the official recount.
