To the Ron Paul Campaign Committee:
I, like many across this great land, have put my heart, soul, time, and money into supporting Ron Paul's candidacy. Our collective sacrifices made thus far have been enormous and remarkable. We are willing and happy to do this for our country as we, like Dr. Paul, believe in the Constitution and the blessings of liberty.
We have stood on our soap boxes telling our family, friends, and neighbors about our country's plight and the cure that Dr. Paul offers. We have taken up this cause by using the ballot box as a peaceful way to reassert the supreme law of the land. We pray that the nation does not descend into a state of complete totalitarianism which would leave us with only the ammo box to reclaim that which so many have given so much for so long.
With the accusations of vote fraud in New Hampshire, we who support Dr. Paul are confused about the Campaign Committee's silence on this issue. Despite our requests for your position, no position has been issued. As the deadline to apply for a recount is only hours away, your opportunity to respond is rapidly ending.
It is unreasonable to expect the continuance of the grass roots' heroic efforts if the votes - the fruits of those efforts - are allowed to be stolen. Your silence inevitably invokes questions of competency and motives. Therefore, I implore you to issue a statement to your supporters. Are you going to demand a recount in New Hampshire? If not, what reasons exist for not taking this action? We are willing to listen but we are not willing to be ignored.
For all that we've done and for all we'll be willing to continue to do to put Ron Paul in the White House, a statement on this issue from the Ron Paul Campaign Committee is but a small request, indeed.
