View Full Version : Cannabilizing Thompson post - SC primary

Random point of interest:

Headlines are making it sound like Thompson is banking on SC. He may be able to make a comeback, but if he is not top 3 (and polling currently looks dubious on that), he could potentially drop out before Feb 5th.

I think Thompson’s vote will split all over. If he endorses, that will aim more of his people somewhere. The bad news is he won't be endorsing Ron Paul unless hell freezes over. The good news is, a few % points off of Thompson means more for use that it does for them. It could potentially give us a better foothold on double-digits and some added momentum into the 5th.

Those supporting Thompson because he is a "traditional conservative" are highly possible recruits, even before the primary (and getting them before gives us more of a chance to pick the rest up afterward ;) :P ).
