And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.

Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,

From every mountainside, let freedom ring!

And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.

And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of
Pennsylvania.

Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.

But not only that:

Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!


Powerful words of a great American Patriot
These words, just some of those Dr. King spoke on the Lincoln Memorial lawn in August of 1963, are just as true today as they were then. Though nearly 45 years have passed, we are still not free. Not just the black community, but all Americans.

For this reason, friends. I proudly support Ron Paul in his campaign to be our next president.

When I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, I vowed to fight, and if necessary die, to protect the freedom of every United States citizen as granted by the United States Constitution (http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.overview.html). I swore before God and man, to fight against all enemies foreign and domestic for the unalienable rights that it is written to protect.

As stated in the Declaration of Independence;

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Friends, take note of that last line...

Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

This means we give them power, and we can take it away. We are not supposed to live in fear of the government, the government is supposed to live in fear of us. That, friends, is a big part of why the second amendment exists.

For too long we have sat, apathetic, allowing the majority of the elite few to appoint the government, which now usurps the rights our forefathers fought and died for. The rights to which I swore to fight and die for.

Few times in our lives are we presented with an easy opportunity to make a difference. This election is one of those few times. The only way to directly effect an election is to participate in the primary elections and caucuses that ultimately determine who will be nominated by a party to run in the general election (November 4). Far too many sit idly by during this most crucial initial election process. Far too many either do not vote at all, or only vote in November.

I believe in freedom. I believe in liberty. I believe in the Constitution. I believe in Ron Paul.
