Hi everyone. I've been working on putting together some Ron Paul Magnetic signs for cars.

The demensions are 12" X 24". So far I've come up with this:

But would like your help to make it even better before I have them made.

Here is the link to the PSD (http://smoke.st/ron-paul.psd). If you have any ideas or can make some improvements, please let me know.

Out of curiosity how expensive is it to get mats of magnetic material that can be painted on? Sounds like an absolutely awesome idea and a good way of getting exposure on the freeway.

i'd get rid of the two lines under Revolution
and i'd add "Hope for America" using same font as campaign website in the lower left hand corner ensuring that the website is easily seen.
Could save on printing costs (two colors), and would look less like an ad for an appliance store.

sorry, but i probably killed your thread

To be honest, it seems a little too busy to me. Lots of colors, and the lettering is scattered all over the place.

I'd vote for something much simpler. For example:

Ron Paul for President 2008
Restore the Republic
www.ronpaul2008.com

... only in prettier lettering

Yeah. if they go to the site, it will show the youtube videos --- so that is redundant..... don't make it too busy...something like..

RON PAUL
REVOLUTION
Save the Constition

I like that except with www.ronpaul2008.com on there

Great idea with the sign!

How about just:
1st line: Revolution
2nd line: Google Ron Paul

This makes the message short (more likely to be read), credible (subliminally by adding 'Google') and, most importantly, actionable ('Google Ron Paul'). Best of luck to you.

Oh wow I didn't realize it was all just one design. Thought they were separate.

Yeah too much for one magnet IMO. I personally prefer some symmetry too but that's just me.

Just spray with a clear UV waterproof coating if using other than pigment inks.

:D

I'd center the url and make it bigger if possible, but I'm compulsive like that. They both look great!

I think they look a lot better there but yeah the URL ALWAYS needs to be big so people know where to go next for more info.

Nice improvements. Could you also squeeze it to 11in x 8 1/2in to fit on cheap magnetic blanks?

Well, the plan is to buy them in bulk and get them for about $14 a piece (delivered). That sounded pretty reasonable to me.

As for smaller sizes, i hadn't planned on it. Kind of a Go big or Go home thing.

I had "Be A Part Of It" on my old Ron Paul bumper sticker. It seemed unnecessary. You might try just getting rid of "Be a Part of It" and see how it looks. While driving around people aren't going to have time to read the slogans. But I like the revolution one. Looks real good. Keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

I think that is a good idea. I would like to print them out myself for less than a dollar a piece for me and my friends and thought if your software could just resize them it would be helpful. But whatever, a nice job. I glad your working on this.

When you say "in bulk", how many are you referring to?

We may be able to beat that price.

Ageed the bigger the better for a quick drive by.

bulk = like 40 at a time - not many really. I'm going to resell them very near cost so everyone who just wants 1 or two can get them at the bulk rate.

But first I want the proofs done - that's why I started the thread.

Sure - it's pretty easy to do - once we get to a design we like I'll resize it however you want.

Oh I'm sure you can figure out how to resize it yourself on your computer. You could use 4 or more 8.5x11" magnet printouts and put them together to make a larger image instead of trying to deal with getting 1 whole larger one. Know what I mean? I like this idea.
