A real fiscal conservative at work.

What is he going to do, tax his scant support base?

He'll be out soon and Romney will too if he doesn't pull out a win in Michigan. I think thats why Ron told Romney "Keep laughing buddy" or whatever it was he said to him last night.

Wow.... I thought he had loads of money on hand?

WAIT WAIT, this is campaign strategy guys. Make all the other candidates think you are down and out, then show up for a surprise comeback. This is strategy, I'm not buying it.

Definitely encouraging news. I don't trust Rudy or the media though, so I'll believe it when I see him drop out for lack of funding. I wonder who will get his non-donating supporters?

Rudi is LOVED here in FL!?!

Bomb scare shortens Rudy Giuliani's visit

MELBOURNE - Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's visit here Wednesday was sidetracked by a bomb threat.

Harris Corp. headquarters in Melbourne received the telephone threat at 1:27 p.m., shortly before the former New York City mayor and his campaign team flew into Melbourne International Airport on a charter jet.

Giuliani was scheduled to tour Harris headquarters and speak with employees. But his visit to Harris was canceled because of the scare. Instead, Giuliani stayed at the airport, where he eventually delivered a speech amid heightened security that included metal detectors and a bomb-sniffing dog.

In all the news articles I've read that mentioned it, they said January 31st. Don't know why it's a full month instead of 15 days like with previous quarters, but that's the date I've seen.

Ghouliani will stay in this race until Florida. If Ghouliani doesn't place first or second in Florida, he will drop out pronto.

I love CNN, they just replayed this piece and here is what they said:
'We talked to three people in his campaign, two said the campaign was not dire in dire straits, but the third confirmed that things were tight'

So, I realize this is all semantics, but can't things 'be tight' without being 'in dire straits' ?

Did they ask all 3 the same question to receive these answers?

I thought Rudy was the only other GOP candidate who was not going broke (RP being Exhibit A.) If he is on the rocks are chances improve immensely.

The line "Ron Paul for the Long Haul" takes on a slightly different meaning.

Hell, how can he be broke?

I thought he works municipal management magic?

Didn't he sinle handedly fly into New York on Sept. 11th, faster than a speeding bullet, and single handedly, with no help from anyone, save New York from certain ruin?

How in the world, could Guliani not be able to manage his money?

Giuliani gets more press for not having money than Ron Paul does for having it.

Good observation. The press that we have to raise millions to get he gets for free for being broke. We need to beat him in S.C.

January 11, 2008

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (CNN) — CNN has learned that top staff members of Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign were asked to work without pay for the month of January, and perhaps longer, so that campaign resources could be focused on the Florida Republican presidential primary.

Two sources in the campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, insisted the campaign was not in dire financial straits. A third campaign source, however, said "things are starting to get tight" and that "it was more telling than asking" the senior staff to forgo paychecks beginning the first of the year.

Another source disagreed, saying it was a "voluntary" move by senior staff members "so all of our resources could be targeted toward Florida…Our campaign is not living hand to mouth right now…"

The officials did not immediately provide a number of staffers who were subject to the new policy. Nor would campaign officials disclose the amount of money the campaign had in the bank.

UPDATE: The Giuliani campaign reports as of December 31 it has $12.7 million cash on hand, of which over $7 million can be used for the primary contests.[/B[B]]

Maybe Rudy can call the Saudi Prince and ask for that $10 million dollars that he refused because the prince wanted the US to 'examine its relationship with Israel.'

Ghouls spend more money on Security than adds, Thompson spends his funds on "fundraising", Mitt cashes his own check, and Huckabee got money from Ghouls supporters for Iowa and has run dry. McCain is in debt, all true conservatives, lol.

In other words the race should really boil down to Romney v. Paul as they are the only two that can afford to stay in the race. If we continue to fund Paul he can stay in.
