View Full Version : I put "Live Free or Die" to 'Auld Lang Syne' for you to hopefully sing at rallys.

I didn't know where to put this - but it could be used in the campaign when people are out marching or chanting.

I am not the best singer but I'm an alright muso and I know that if you guys had some group songs that were easy for people to join in, then that could create such a warm and peaceful vibe around the RP movement.
You may not need to learn the whole lot - but at least the "Live free or die" part. Again, apoligies for the singing. I had to do something for the cause - even if that meant losing my dignity through singing!! My piano playings a bit better!!

If anyone likes it, could you please help me circulate it.

I also have another song (protest song against government and media spinning things) that I will put up shortly.

If any of you are poets or writers, I would love to get a couple more different sets of words to put to well known tunes so that they also could be sung at rallys. I'd rather them not to be too poetic - mainly factual about what we stand for etc. Try and make last words rhyme - either last word of line 1 with last word of line 2, or last word of line 1 with last word of line 3 etc (2 with 4).

Hope you enjoy and please circulate it. If the singing is too bad, then someone else to a better version!!!!!!

Cheers and hoo-ray.

Just added a song called "Poor Reporting", set to the tune of "Glory, glory, hallelujah":
