I don't want you to look at this superficially. Instead, read their definitions:
(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.
Intimidate the US Government? That's somewhat vague. Could petitioning them for change be intimidation, or printing an article in a newspaper or over the TV that we don't think the government is doing the right things we believe in? Because that's pretty open ended. This bill gives the government discretion to deem whatever they feel is intimidation. Would that include Letters to the Editor?
Look up this bill. It's the government removing our First Amendment.
