Pre/Post vote Tally?

I am spreading this throughout the forum in every State. If I find that it is indeed a good and legal idea, I will spread it.

Is it legal to have volunteers with pen and paper stand outside the polls to take the name and number of those who have cast their vote for Ron Paul?

This would ensure a more accurate measure of the ballots whether, or not they are counted by hand or, machine.

If this is legal, now is the time to gather the volunteers, especially in the larger cities!

Poll watchers sit at the polling place of their precinct and ask people who voted for their candidate to sign a form stating that they did.
