I was very excited to hear from a local Ron Paul supporter someone is running with the same platform as Dr Paul for Michigan's Congressional District 1! Website: http://www.lindagoldthorpe.com/Home.html

I've always thought that beyond Ron Paul and the presidential election we need to utilize this internet organization in ways it has never been used before. Imagine our internet energy being focused on a few small congressional elections. We could slowly infiltrate the Republican party a few seats at the time.

She needs our support. I really don't think she could win this without support outside the district--that's where you guys come in.

As I've said before, Ron Paul may be the start, but he is not the end. If our elected officials will not do their jobs, we will take their jobs...personally.

Quoted for posting excellency. Congressional candidates should be part of our focus.

I think you should take their jobs NOW! Don't wait. Their ineptness has already been proven.

Wow, if we could get enough Dems to switch to vote the Republican primary and vote for Ron Paul Republicans as well, Michigan could be huge not just for the presidency stakes.

This should be the mission of the Ron Paul Patriots;

Spread your seed throughout the country.

Heh, sorry had to do it.

I've been looking into the feasibility of running for a house seat out here in Southern California. I am still a bit young right now, but it's been on my mind constantly lately. We'll see in a few more years.

I wonder about the makeup of this district. Perhaps we should funnel some funds her way.

The current rep. Stupak is a democrat. This is a northern very rural part of michigan and the only other times in history there has been a democrat in this seat was during the depression and briefly in the 60s. So how has Mr Stupak been able to keep his seat in this district since 1992? He is liberal on all issues except a select few--abortion and gun control.

Excellent! I'll add her to the list of true Peace Candidates!

Anyone here from Mississippi? The deadline is tomorrow- Friday Jan 11- only costs $200- right now the incumbents are UNOPPOSED! Two seats have no incumbents at all.

GREAT website. Like the counter for the cost of the Iraq war. Would be good to include a counter of the number of killed or wounded US troops.
