How do I know if I registered correctly?

Hey all,

I registered Republican about a month ago, but have received no mailings of any kind. How do I know if I am registered? I live in Covina, CA (91723).

Also, I am concerned that I was registered Democrat, but neglected to check the box on the form that indicated that I was changing party. The reason I say this is because I registered Democrat a couple years ago and completely forgot about it when it came time to change to Republican to vote for the good doctor.

Any ideas?

I would call them tommorrow and see if they have you registered if not go down to the voters place and get it fixed--just my .02

Since youre part of LA county, call 562-466-1310 and tell them you registered to vote and that you want to verify your status. Also verify you are republican.

I tried to call that # but no answer. I got one 2 days ago but my wife haven't got one. Should I wait for a few more days or call different #?

Just call your country registrar of voters. They'll tell you over the phone. In California, after registering to vote, you normally get a postcard advising you of your registration status. It would not be unheard of for it to take more than a month or so to get that postcard...but be safe, give 'em a call now and verify that you are on the rolls.
