A painful lesson
Posted by James Ostrowski at January 9, 2008 07:32 AM

I hope everyone now realizes that obnoxious street tactics lose votes.

There's nothing wrong with peaceful demonstrations and sign-wavings. But dropping F-bombs and chasing talk show hosts are guaranteed to lose votes.

Too bad he's 100% correct and yet idiots will still come into this thread and say how that didn't hurt us at all.

what hurt us more.. fox dropping paul.. or paul supporters getting mad over it??

think about it

kinda easy to start pointing the fingers at this point without realizing that the effects we are experiencing have been in the works for a year.. from news reporters slipping in snipe remarks about paul.. to outright calling him a kook.. to say that it's simply because of a few f bombs is absurd.

blame old media.. not paul supporters.

WE might have actually gained some recognition and some votes because of FOX not allowing R.P. in the forum. Then some idiots insisted on proving what the media says about us is true.

I think the worst behaved "Ron Paul supporters" are actually supporters of another candidate trying to make us look bad. Unfortunately there's no way to keep that from happening and the media happily eats it up.

In regards to the chasing of Sean Hannity, Ron Paul remarked that he didn't see anything wrong with what they're doing as long as they don't get physical. He said he told his supporters to have fun and that it looked like that's what they were doing. I expected him to say something along the lines of how some of his supporters go overboard, but he didn't say anything negative about the incident at all. The clip he was being shown even had someone clearly yelling "You suck, Sean!"

Those who blame the old media need to get over themselves.

We tried and we failed.

Today's another day..

speak for yourself..

it took more than one election cycle for use to get to this point, and it will take more than one to fix it.. get over your own negativity.
