"Hey did you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"Campaign HQ is rumored to be planning on doing something."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, you'll see. Something good."

"Shit man, what is it??"

"Well, no one knows for sure, but, just think about it, it has to be good!"

"What. Are. You. Talking. About. My hands are shaking!!"

Wasn't the strategy related to holding on to the $$ until after New Hampshire and now going on a spending blitz for super Tuesday?

Someone was saying that last night. Apparently the campaign told volunteers in IA that was the plan. They wanted 3rd in the two states (IA and NH) and came close but they held most of the money for Super Tuesday. It's a strategy. I hope it works. Kind of like Guiliani ignoring IA and NH and shooting for Super Tuesday and Florida. I think RP has more money though.

We've been so quiet for so long and now you just go and blurt it out. Pffft.

Wait, why were we keeping it quiet anyway?

no you guys have it wrong.

the plan is not to spend the $20 million. It is to spend maybe $2 million and keep the rest for the next elections.

Everyone keeps talking like RP has $20M. Yes, he took in that much last quarter, but I have yet to see what has been spent.

The ineptitude of the Official Campaign has been so impressive, that I don't know what to believe anymore.

But if they were aiming low at the first states, then they are far more stupid than I could possibly comprehend.
NO ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN COULD EVER HAVE THE IMPACT OF FINISHING FIRST.

By the same token, no campaign is enough to bounce back from dead last.
