Here is a timeline of events in our original fight for freedom, would you have kept fighting in the face of this?

Declaration of Independence adopted (7/4/1776)
Declaration of Independence signed (8/2/1776)
Arrival of 30,000 British troops in New York harbor
British win the Battle of Long Island (Battle of Brooklyn) (8/27-30/1776)
British occupy New York City (9/15/1776)
British win the Battle of Harlem Heights (9/16/1776)
Benedict Arnold defeated at Lake Champlain (10/11/1776)
American retreat at the Battle of White Plains (10/28/1776)
British capture Fort Washington, NY and Fort Lee, NJ (11/16/1776)

Our perserverence will win the war. Unlike Iraq, we must stay in this fight for the long haul, surrender is not an option. Don't be fooled by the old media and don't let less than 1% of voters decide the elections.

We're just getting started. The general election is still 10 months away.

It's just crazy that some people are talking like it is over. If we had been the First American Revolution our ancestors would still be singing 'God Save the Queen' and pledging to the Union Jack.

When things are looking bad for the campaign,
I can't but help about think of Dr. Paul fighting alone,
ridiculed and laughed at for years.
How in the Hell can people drop their beliefs
and flee at the 1st sign of trouble.
