Just wondering if anyone had any ideas? How can we help get the word out to Michigan w/o being there?

Volunteer to call people. Go to local newspaper internet forums, discuss, and help out what Ron Paul supporters are there. The more discussions and more relevant he is on there (even against the very anti-Pauls), the more exposure he is getting from those that browse and do not post.

here, actually here are a few forums that cover the "tri city" area and some other cities.
NO SPAMMING!!! We will lose respect, if you are not intellegent enough to discuss, and debate respectively (even when you are being disrespected) then stay away from these:
Try the "News" and local city forums here:

Midland:

We do not OWN every sector of the internet, keep that in mind. Over 80% of Americans regularly use it, but we are coming in with less than 10% of the votes.
Go get em! :)

Great input, guys. Thanks.
I have an idea... Why don't we start posting relevant links to local/state website article comments, forums, etc., so we can spread the message of freedom to the people in (for example) Michigan?
We could do this for each state maybe?
We could have an official thread with different links to that state's daily news comment sections, blogs, etc. Post a thread like this in each state subforum possibly?
Maybe give it a sticky and keep the intitial post updated, kind of like the latest RP videos thread. I think it would be a good way to channel traffic to our benefit.
For example, the Michigan subforum could have a thread with links to different daily Michigan articles where people can comment. Forums, blogs, etc.
Your thoughts?

To be honest I think unless your in IA, NH, or WY the best way to help Michigan is to canvass your own state. Keep getting the vote out in your own area.

I agree, take that article seriously. My son just called and is picking up in AZ that Countrywide might be having more problems. He has his home loan with them. Asking what happens if they go under. ie who he pays. Had a great discussion. He and his brother have been giving me heck about Dr. Paul. I keep stressing to the family the economy is tanking due to war and Fed.
Tonight for the first time, he said Dr. Paul is making a lot of sense. If he at 40 converts, his brother 44 converts and so on. The message is starting to sink in. I just have not let up trying to convert them all to Dr. Paul. They have to get what he says and why it is important.

Without a doubt everyone should be out canvasing -- but we have international heads here that can do things like cover local internet forums for us. They want to help, and we appreciate it - so there is something you can do ;)

In my opinion, something really huge needs to happen in order for Dr. Paul to do well on Feb. 5th. I think that everyone should go to Michigan on Sunday and volunteer on Monday and Tuesday. I am from Ohio and I asked Michigan HQ if they needed any help. They said:
We definitely could use some help getting out the vote on Monday and Tuesday. We have enough equipment for 100 volunteers, and a supporter has loaned his house for volunteer usage, so grab some friends, bring some sleeping bags, and come on out to our headquarters in Detroit to WIN Michigan for Ron Paul.
We are located at 18981 Telegraph Rd, at Telegraph and Seven Mile Road, in Northwest Detroit, bordering Redford Township.

We need to have 10,000 volunteers not 100 on Sun,Mon, & Tuesday. Please contact your meetup groups and ask everyone to travel to Detroit and volunteer for Ron Paul. If we had thousands of people out there, it would send a message.

If everyone volunteers, we are a strong force to be reckoned with.
