Some folks are wringing their hands because of the results in New Hampshire tonight. They should be upbeat, not despairing. The 2008 Presidential Election is a battle, not the war.

We are fighting to propagate ideas and bring about permanent change. We must lay the groundwork for an entire wave of people to reach for every position of influence, starting right at the local precinct committee level. The strategy is education and activism.

If we keep the faith and continue to work together, we can bring an end to the American Empire, bring our troops home, stop the endless and unnecessary bloodshed, restore a sound currency, stop the ruinous deficit spending, rejuvenate our economy, and repeal the police state.

Even if we elect Ron Paul President, our goals will be blocked, unless we educate the people and elect better Congressmen and Senators to actually pass the necessary legislation. Ron Paul cannot do it alone. Indeed, Congress holds the ultimate power, not the President.

If the election was only about electing Ron Paul, even if we succeeded in getting him elected, the Revolution would be finished after 4 or 8 years, and it wouldn't be much of a revolution. Ron Paul has said this himself; regardless of whether he is elected, we are all winners because we are now banded together as the agents of change.

Continue to work hard, but understand that we are the victors in the long run regardless of our finish in this particular race. The Revolution isn't about Ron Paul, it's about Liberty. Chill out and enjoy the journey back to freedom. We should be having a good time while we advance the ideals of liberty, not fretting about a single election.

The second American Revolution is born, and the only way it can fail is if we give up. We have the knowledge, we have the tools, especially the internet, and we have each other. We should be celebrating instead of despairing, and working harder than ever because together we cannot fail.
