You will never get anywhere by defending Dr. Paul against people who say that "Oh... Ron Paul can't get into office... his ideas are too radical... he won't get support... I've never heard of him..." They are too far ingrained within their own propaganda controlled minds to think that someone like Dr. Paul could be the savior of this country.
Instead start attacking the other candidates. Don't print out a list of why Dr. Paul is good. Instead, print out a list of how all the other candidates SUCK.
Have a sheet of say 8 or so columns: 5 Republican, 3 Democratic. Put all of their past mistakes and blunders and how horrible they are. And then? Give it out to everyone you can. Literally... EVERYONE. Or mass forward it as an email.
People are interested in attacks. They see the sheet and wonder, wow, all of these candidates really do suck!
At that point, let them decide for themselves who they want to vote for. They might find Dr. Paul and realize that he's the only candidate left. They might get discouraged and not vote at all.
Either way, we win.
So let's stop defending the good Dr. He doesn't need to be defended. If people actually believe what the media and the neocons say about him, then there's no amount of reasoning we can do to dissuade them.
Instead, we need to go into the offense, attack other candidates on their issues and stir up controversy. People like controversy, they like the hype. And only then, I'm afraid, will they actually start to pay attention to Dr. Paul and try to figure out why he's so good.
