What is the $23M supposed to do?

Is the campaign going to tell us how the $ is to be spent?

Speaking for myself here, I would give up to my max and my wife's max (all at one time) if I knew that there is an an immediate plan that will be put into effect.

A MASSIVE television campaign would be a great idea.

GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WORK WITH HERE!!!!

Their plan was to spend $250,000 on TV ads in New Hampshire in December.

Their plans suck.

Guys even if we lose the Primaries DO NOT FORGET. Ron Paul will stay in if we want him to.

This is about his message.

Just picture this scenario we have 10 percent dedicated voters.

Socialist Hillary wins Dem side, Neocon Mccain wins GOP side.

Well everyone that was going to vote Obama obviously picked him because of his Anti War stance.
Plus we will pick up indies and some pissed off repubs.

We could have a huge impact on the general election. WIN OR LOSE.

Let's be real here,

If Obama wins the Dems then the Repubs are screwed hard. The novelty of the first Black President and his good natured charm will make him irresistible to the idiotic majority. In contrast any one of the Republican "front runners" will appear as angry old white guys.

Ron Paul is probably the only guy who can even combat Obama because his stance and consistency are without reproach. Yet so far less than 10% of voters can be reasonably expected to support Dr. Paul to the bitter end.

Unless the National Campaign has a no-kidding plan that shows some promise of working (not a guarantee of course) then I just can't see sending more $. I'd rather start thinking of taking over some local government seat or maybe something in the state legislature.

Perhaps this is the libertarian in me, but I would have preferred to see our campaign almost entirely decentralized. By this I mean that WE the supporters run all the newspaper, radio, and TV ads and raise our own money. Obviously I would support also giving money to the campaign PCC so that they can afford to travel and whatnot. However, I firmly believe that if the grassroots were given the OK by the campaign to raise our cash and make our ads, we could go miles beyond anything we expected.

I'm a big decentralization guy. I apply the philosophy to many aspects of my life =)

The novelty of the first female president is harder to overcome than the novelty of the first black president. There are more females than blacks in this country. Hilary cried and they all came running to the polls for her in NH.

There plan is to wait on the grassroots to do another moneybomb, then talk about all the money we have with the media, then swim in it, then let Paul not get fair talking time to share his message on tv, then swim in the money some more, wait for another moneybomb, swim in even more money, and then win.

It's time to get ready for a third party run.

Give me a break!

Third party running won't do any good except piss off the establishment even more.

The Republicans will be so afraid of Hillary as prez they will trip over themselves to vote for Ronmey, McCain, or even the Ghoul.

Third party talk is pipe dreaming.

I want to know if that is possible? Let's say that Clinton wins Decoms nomination and Romney for Republican at the end, I think a lot of people may not want to vote for Clinton or Romney and they may want to look into the third party like Ron Paul? I mean, if Ron Paul still have a lot of money left. That way, more people will get to know more about Ron Paul and his issues in a long run if he continue to stay in GOP until the end and then switch the party. Do you see what Im saying?

Then why softdance around the issue.

Declare yourself a third-party or independent candidate and make a real shock to the system. Something that says you believe in your cause enough to take things to the next level.

If RP waits until his defeat in the national primary seems inevitable most will say he is just a sore looser and doesn't know when to quit.

A move now would not carry the same connotation.

We actually briefly had a real and viable third party. Pat Buchanan sabotaged it.

Not really. I don't think the MSM is fair with Ron Paul. What if in next few weeks, his name starting to picking up and more people want to vote for him but if it is close but too late and lost. Will he considered to be in third party? I think he may have a good chance to win on third party if Dems and Reps already decided. In other words, if Obama lost, his supporters may switch to Ron Paul. Also if Huckabee and or McCain lost, their supporters may join him as well if they don't want to vote for Romney. Just an example.

It's time I think...Almost everyone has seen Ron on CNN, or MSNBC. It's time for Ron to hold a press conference and shread the old Republican membership card.

Well, what % do people know about Ron Paul's issues, not his name? Remember Howard Stern just found out about him and seems interested?

I think it would be funny if he did it during a prominent debate in front of all the other candidates.
