The National Ledger's Jerry Carter had a decent article on Ron Paul (here (http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/publish/article_272613513.shtml)), but he continued with the all-too-common theme that "it's too bad he doesn't have a chance". I respond thusly:

From what I've seen since the debate, and from statements I've heard from Ron Paul (see here for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4oJCS4nS4o), Ron is quite encouraged, and has been taking a stronger approach in interviews and such. He has also apparently gotten a big boost in fundraising, just in the last week. Things are definitely looking up, and I would like to see more people dropping the attitude that gives up before the race has hardly even gotten started. That hurts Ron Paul's chances more than anything, I think.
I think we should try our best to encourage others who think similarly. They're on our side, but they just don't have the motivation or appropriate knowledge to remain optimistic. If they see how much support he's getting, they might just start changing their tune.
