Hello All,
On January 4 the Campaign issued the following statement regarding California:
"California is a potential goldmine for the campaign in terms of national delegates, but, again, it will require every Ron Paul supporter who is physically able to take ownership of their own precinct and one more neighboring precinct and deliver them for Ron Paul by registering Independents and others as Republicans (until Jan 22) and by door to door canvassing (until Feb 4)."
My local Northern California meetup group agrees that our area is a potential goldmine of support for Ron Paul, largely due to a considerable population of independents who are adamantly opposed to the war. We have teamed up with other meetup groups nearbye to run a series of newspaper ads everywhere possible around the Bay Area. The ads will be aimed at encouraging those independents to register by January 22, and of course, to vote on Super Tuesday, February 5. We hope to distribute copies of these ads as we canvas our neighborhoods.
The first ad will run in a paper with a circulation of 110,000 this coming Thursday. It cost $285. The final draft will be done in the next few hours and will look like this, with a few changes, including the spelling error, "Hebeus":

We hope to run a series of 3 more ads by February 5, perhaps culminating with
a full page version of the USA Today Ad.
Time is short, and we could use some help.
First, Can we get a Winning California Forum?
Second, Can we get help setting up a chipin to raise funds for these newspaper ads?
