After all the arguments about who cut taxes more I decided to do a little research, and comparison.

Three Governors are running for the presidency, and they all have a lot in common. All three are from blue states, and claim to be fiscally conservative, and all were Governors during the years of 2003-2006 (Huckabee 96-06, Romney 03-06, Richardson 03-06).

I thought it was of particular importance that all three dealt with democratic state legislatures because most Republicans are looking for a candidate to stand strong against the tax and spend philosophy of the democratic congress.

State taxes were increased in both Massachusetts and Arkansas with Arkansas leading the way in state tax increases. Only one Governor actually cut taxes and it was Richardson!
