Dixville Notch is famous for being the first town to close their polls and announce results, one minute after midnight. It's a tiny resort town, they all gather at midnight and cast their ballots in the lobby of the big hotel.

I've heard this is usually covered on TV, but I don't own a TV. Does anyone know anything about this? More importantly, can you watch it and post the results here?

And it's been many, many years since the winner of Dixville Notch has also won the New Hampshire Primary. It's a silly event that serves no purpose other than to give the news channel people something to cover live at midnight.

It would be pretty cool if Ron Paul got 100% (all 6 votes) in Dixville Notch.

I agree. But it's an NH tradition, and as a new NH resident (Free State Project!), it's the first time it gets to by *my* tradition, and I'm feeling left out without TV. :) Besides, we got anything better to do right now?

Results: McCain 4, Romney 2, Giuliani 1

Don't worry, Dixville is almost never the same as the results for NH as a whole. :)
