I guess this is an old idea but this inspired me to add a little spin on it:

Making dumb-downed kind "educational videos" on complex topics like monetary policy and illustrating them in flashy, almost childlike but not descending analogies. Instead of having RP or a supporter/actor just telling people about this kind of stuff with pictures of monuments and flags and stuff, use something like LEGOs or something that every American (ignorant or not) can relate to or at least recognize.

("Austrian Economics as Explained Through Dancing With the Stars?" anyone?)

My 8th grade English teacher always said studies show multisensory stimulation is way, way more compelling than just audio/text/collages. The reason video games are so able to keep the attention of kids so long is because it engages simultaneously many senses: you hear the sound effects/music, you watch a lot of fast-paced action, you have to respond physically with a controller AND strategically plan ahead.
