View Full Version : Reach out to chiropracters?

I have found chiropracters to be fertile ground given Dr. Paul's stance on alternative medicine. So I had a thought, why not direct mail every chiropractic practice in a given state just AFTER it's primary (we're behind 1 and almost 2 states now).

These are professionals, they have money to donate to the cause.

By leveraging the existing medical insurance functions of these 2 sites we can pull, by State or County and by medical practice (chiropractic, obgyn...) a list of doctors to be contacted.

Print a letter with some of Dr. Pauls more well known stances on alternative medicine, throw a slimjim in to boot and mail them out. Note how Ron Paul did in their state and that they can help continue the message across the country.

I checked and NH seems to have 200 or so, MI has around 1000. The postage we ought to be able to raise, the return could be way more than the investment. What's more, these all own offices where we might be able to get some viral action going on.

If there is any support for this, we'd have to move fast.

Thoughts?

Great Idea,

BTW, there's a health freedom forum here that you should visit. It's probably the place to post ideas like this so many more health freedom advocates can see them.

I'm noticing that many of these practitioners have FAX numbers available. With such little time left in MI and obviously in NH before the primaries, FAXing may be in order. Of course, a lot of folks get p.o.'d by faxes, so the information would have to be VERY compelling and very concise.

I believe those are phone numbers in many instances, and I think there's a law about spamming unwanted faxes now.

You can trust a chiropractor to always set you straight...

HQ is busy targeting Republicans and Independents, which is awesome, they have some really compelling stuff. I'm thinking grassroots will need to do this if there's interest (and I know, initiative, I don't have $500 for postage).

Judging interest...

Make sure they at least get a Health Issues SlimJim. Also hit up health food stores with them.

I can't believe I forgot about this. A friend of mine is a chiropractor, and I haven't even discussed RP with him! Don't slap me! This is because we got into an argument about Bush last year. He supported him, and he still might. I'll bring up RP with him tomorrow. :)

i am a chiropractor and i have been talking about RP to all my classmates (from 2002), all my professors and students (from my school in Dallas).

Most of them are very interested in his platform and are very receptive to his ideas.

Just mention that Dr. Mercola endorse him and they will perk up.

DrRich - Any other tidbits that might be useful? Have any favorite articles from Dr. Paul?

"I can't believe I'm actually going to vote for a Republican!"

Quoted from my chiropractor friend after I had sent him info and vid links on Ron Paul. Very furtile ground and.....they have a downline! Their patients.

And don't forget regular family practitioners either. They are leaving the profession in droves because after they get through filling out all the paper work and MAYBE getting paid by the Govt....they aren't making enough money to make ends meet. They would like to see an end to this insanity also!

I'm in Chiropractic school! We already have a few people who have been vocal about Dr. Paul (at school at least), but as for the election, for some reason the ACA (American Chiropractic Association) has decided to back Obama. The outgoing president of the ACA is the President of my school, I have been considering a meeting with discussing the issue.

Most Chiropractors have every reason to support Paul, as legislation passed by Congress on behalf of doctors (AMA) is very damaging to their practices...among other reasons.
