I'm been putting a lot of thought on what my meetup's signs should say when he start our weekly "Sign Parties" in a few weeks

What do we need to stress to people?

I thought about the following. Approve/criticize them and add your own (Bonus for Funny Ones!)

mine:
1.) Ron Paul
For President
Strong on Defense

2.) Defend the
Constitution
Ron Paul 2008

3.) Tired of Politics
As Usual?
Ron Paul 4 Prez

4.) www.RonPaul2008.com
Find Out What
The Buzz Is About

1) Confusing. Seems to indicate he is pro-war. So people antiwar would ignore him, and people for the war would ditch him after looking up anything on him. Instead, mention illegal immigration, or something.

2) Good. Maybe add for president.

3) Like the question, don't like the abbreviation "4 Prez" sounds like high school politics.

4) Ok... Seems a bit vague, though. I don't like baiting advertisement at all: I adamantly refuse to find out what they are about if they don't tell me what is being sold upfront. The 2008 indicates politics to me, but not enough. Boston has been plagued with these "windorphins" ads for a month now. I don't know what they are for, and I refuse to go to their website. And If they ever tell me what it is for, I probably won't buy it. I'd rather:
www.RonPaul2008.com/A sentence about an issue he supports.

thanks for your thoughts. noted!

We also considered having the 3 of us holding 3 different signs "Moderate for Ron Paul, President in 2008", "Republican for..." "Democrat for..."
does that sound as lame as I think it does lol

Do the "Atlas Shrugged" thingy and post signs that say:

Who is Ron Paul?

In the interest of not reinventing the wheel, this might yield some good ideas.

The other way that works is to make a ton of "Who is Ron Paul?" Signs and put them everywhere you legally and respectfully can (in addition to the other signs)... Curiousity killed the cat...

These are scaled-down versions of the signs I put up in my town during the overnight.

Some are still up. :)
