His son is in Iraq...I doubt he'll endorse Paul.

Even though it would mean his son could come home....but why do that.
He's got a party line to tow.

Never. If he endorses anybody I think it will be Thompson. I bet he's not dropping out though. He probably wants to brag about his delegate in Wyoming :D

1 million dead in Iraq? He's more worried about 1 in a million kids getting sick from Chinese toys.

hunter is defiantly closer to paul (ideologically) than any of the other candidates, but i find it hard to dream he would endorse him. i remember one of the debates this summer, i don't remember what the issue was, but the camera pulled back as ron was speaking and you saw hunter nodding his head and clapping after he was finished. then he said something to him.

hunter has never been all about the war, maybe his son has told him some stuff. hunter major focus has been, immigration and economics, specifically the foreign trade issue. that he's withdrawing today obviously means he is endorsing someone for the primary tomorrow. romney could use the endorsement, he has been talking tough on immigration and tancredo endorsed him, but the trade issue is an area of disagreement. thompson is so far down in the current polls it would seem to be irrelevant for hunter to endorse him. ron paul has the immigration issue nailed, and although he has been a big proponent of free trade theoretically, practically ron paul is against the WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA and all the other international pseudo free trade agreements. plus recently when questioned on where revenue would come without the income tax (sorry, don't remember where) he quietly said tarifs.

so, could duncan hunter endorse ron paul today? it would seem to make the most sense, ron paul could use that 1%, but don't get your hopes up, the smart money's on romney.

He's more of a warmonger than anybody but McCain and Giuliani. He's probably dropping out to endorse McCain.

So was Tancredo, but he endorsed Mitt and is in New Hampshire right now stumping for him.

Hunter is CFR, he'll endorse Romney. He would loose any deal he had made behind the scene if he endorsed RP.

Anybody watch him on CNN just now? He's not dropping out yet. He just ripped ABC and FOX for not including him in debates when he has a delegate and others don't.

LOL... Hunter is staying in the race and basically slammed ABC and FoxNews for excluding him

Are you sure about that? I have never seen anything to indicate so.

Yeah, I saw it on CNN. It was a good speech for getting the underdog vote. Who can he pull the most votes away from? Does this dilute RP or the others more?

He's strongly pro-war... he's not going to pull votes away from Ron Paul. Hunter staying in will just help to dilute the pro-war vote a little.
