Oh, and it was "required" in 2006 when I voted here in Ann Arbor, but I didn't have my ID (I had NOTHING, I lost my keys and IDs) and they still had to let me vote. They still asked people for ID, but their policy was to let people vote anyways.

You can still vote without photo ID, but would have to sign an affidivate attesting that do not have one.
