Ha! I love hearing Ron Paul being paraphrased by Howard Stern. Sounds like a weird alternate universe Ron Paul. Here it is:

"I gotta tell you about this guy Ron Paul. He's fantastic. The Republicans for some reason (interrupted) - they laugh at him all the time, but meanwhile he did pretty good in Iowa. This guy, he's a Republican, and he says, "Listen. When I become president, I'm taking us out of Iraq. I'm taking us out of everywhere in the world." He goes "What good has it done us, bein' in these fuckin' middle eastern countries. Because they hate us, I'm taking us outta all these wars, and we're done." He goes "And I'm not an isolationist. I'm not afraid to use the military where it's needed." But he said "To sit in here in these extended fuckin' wars, drain the economy..." and he goes "And if we stay or we leave, the same God damn thing happens. Nothin! So let's leave!" And people love this guy when he talks. He makes sense.

You might not like Howard Stern but his fanbase is comparable to Oprah's as far as his fans doing what he tells them to do.

Howard doesn't even realize Ron wants to get rid of the FCC.

He could get him on the show for that reason alone.

I love the idea of getting RP on Stern. I listened to Howard Stern for years and I think he has great influence over his audience and I also think that Howard is gearing up for a change in position in favor of Paul.

I think the chemistry between Paul and Stern would be amazing. They are so different but they are so alike at the same time.
