Default Class Action Lawsuit - R3voLution v NH Union Leader?
They have not run two paid ads in a row.

As a group of people who have a self-interest in the ads and are experiencing personal loss by them not being run, do we have any basis for a class-action law suit? Are there any First Amendment issues related to this? Should we just sue their pants off on principle?

Could we try? Could we fund it? Do we have the lawyers amongst us who would try it?

What other aggressive options do we have that could be effected in ..... oh two days?

Either way, we should make bad business practice, especially that of restricting political speech, limiting the candidate choices of the body politic and, in effect, working to disenfranchise voters VERY FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!!

Yeah you could try it but I doubt it would accomplish much. It's not impossible it was just an accident. You would have to prove it was not just an accident. That may not be easy.

Accident or not I would think they could still be held liable.

It might be hard to prove any liability exept a refund.

Is that the same Editor that was on C-Span yesterday showing a full page McCain ad in his paper?

Another thought that would even be cheaper and more effective is to have the ad printed on colored paper and pay people to put in mailboxes throughout New Hampshire. That would get far more attention than the newspaper and might end up being substantially cheaper.

The Union Leader is a propaganda mouthpiece for the status quo. It's no surprise they've 'forgotten' to run advertisements.

Fergus Cullen used to be an editorial/political writer there with significant power. That's the bully pulpit he used to land the Chairmanship of the NH GOP. Guaranteed he's still got major connections there (the party's tentacles are deep into that paper) and is covering his backside with his NH GOP statement even as his buddies hold the keys of communication to the public and continue to blackout Ron Paul.

Beware wolves in sheeps' clothing. The puppets are everywhere. And the establishment is very scared about even having Ron Paul's message *heard* by the public...

Sue them anyway, file papers not matter how frivolous and tell all the media about it. Maybe that would work for free advertisement?
