These sponsors had commercials during the Fox Presidential Forum. They should be made aware that they were specifically sponsoring (and paying for) a program which attempted to manipulate a US Presidential Election.

First commercial break:

Bayer Aspirin
Fixodent/Scope
Mag-Lite
Cialis
Smart Balance Spread

Second commercial break:

Breath Right Snore Relief

Vehix.com (may have been local/regional)
Comcast (may have been local/regional)

Third and Final Break (post-candidates, pre-analysis round-table)

Aspercreme
Chevy Malibu
Charles Schwab

What do you mean they lied about the bus??

They actually had this event indoors?

Link to confirm this?

American Tax Relief(how funny they would sponsor this...since Ron Paul is really the only Tax Relief candidate running). 1-800-610-2852

I wouldn't assume that all of the sponsors know what was really going on. That is why we need to make them aware of it...

DirecTV is owned by Rupert Murdoch who owns Fox.
Change to Dish Network, that will hurt em bad if he loses several hundred thousand subscribers.

I read somewhere that if you place ordinary table sugar in the gas tank of a generator, for instance ....

I'd never buy a Chevy anyways, and this gives me even more reason. Go FORD! I got rid of Comcast a while ago, and now just have to make sure my mother doesn't buy Smart Balance Spread.

I think that we should also write letters to the companies we used to buy products from and inform them about the boycott. Anyone?

Absolutely. Target these advertisers. Just emailed Maglite myself, since I actually have purchased from them in the past.

Here's one possibility. Just an example, feel free to use any ideas, but as usual, we should probably put things into "our own words".

Dear <advertiser>,

I am writing to you regarding your sponsorship of the Fox News Republican Presidential Forum aired on Sunday January 6th. Your advertisement ran during this broadcast.

I wanted to make you aware of the fact that Fox News excluded a front-running Republican Candidate from this debate, one that is polling in third place in New Hampshire. It doesn’t matter who the candidate is, but the fact remains that a viable and popular candidate was excluded. This is intentional censorship, and an attempt to manipulate a US Presidential election.

If you are paying for this “Fox Presidential Forum”, I would like to know if you are in favor of censorship, or manipulating US Presidential Elections. If you are aware of this censorship, and still sponsored this “forum”, please let me know.

I can not in good conscience continue to do business with an entity that is complicit in censorship, attempts to mislead and misinform voters, and an attempt to subvert the American Democratic process.

I look forward to your response on this vital issue.

Thank you,

The candidates were sitting on a platform that unfolds from the side of the bus/motorhome thing.
