Perfect Day (Ron Paul) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbzWHaSQZMQ)

Trevor Lyman and James Sugra are getting allot of attention. But the true creator of the Moneybomb and mass donation events will always be Jesse Elder and Eric Nordstrom.

Nordstrom provided the http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com for Elder's concept.

James Sugra posted a video on October 15th 2007, that inspired Trevor Lyman to register the domain thisnovember5th.com on October 16th 2007 and begin to collect names in an opt in donation event.

Strangely a post was made by Jesse Elder on the Politics of Liberty website on October 14th 2007 about the Ron Paul Money Bomb - see link: (Scroll Down) http://ronpaulosopher.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Stranger still is the fact that the word "moneybomb" began to be used in advertisements for the November 5th fundraiser.

Oh well, Elder and Nordstrom may not get the acclaim, credit, or fame for the idea - but we know what we've done. Just happy it helped the effort.

http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com - Come see what started it all.

P.S. Here is the Graph Snapshot from the fisrt mass donation event/moneybomb - compliments of Ron Paul Graphs - http://www.ronpaulgraphs.com/oct_20_total.html

The only reason I have posted this is due to Trevor never mentioning us. Surely he can't be that oblivious. At any rate - many folks are getting into the donation event 'game' now and it is causing chaos! T

roy Fisher of http://www.ronpaulpayday.com has done two things, one - he simply duplicated an idea for a weekly donation - http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com already does this, and two he has put out a video telling people to stop the moneybombs and his odd influence has just about killed the concept - Lyman with his "fame" is even havening a hard time getting it going.

So... if Elders and I can rake in even a grain of sand worth of credit for our hard work, perhaps we can ensure folks begin to come to the Original Ron Paul Money Bomb website and Donation Event Hub.

It is going to be a long hard road through the General Election... Keep the Bombs Dropping! Send new Recruits Our Way...

I'm glad we took it as far as we did.

Ya, Jesse told me we were going to host the November 5th event. I was about 90% finished with the website for it when I got word that some dude, out of no where, put up a website for it. It left Elders and I scratching our heads.

I contacted (Lyman) to combine forces, but to this day (September 21st 2008) have had no response from the guy.

The moneybombs were sure a hit. I feel good about being a part of it.

That viral youtube video got people pumped up to donate. That was the key here. Money bombs without a good youtube promotional video haven't been as successful. I remember posting that video everywhere and people laughed saying we wouldn't raise a dime. I had to go back and gloat just a little. :)

btw that's still one of my favorite RP videos!! you guys are legends...nuff said.

I agree 100% - without the magic of the video geniuses... the moneybombs would have been diminished.

Thanks Eric
