View Full Version : I just contrasted RP and McCain over C-SPAN for a full 2 minutes!!

I was able to discuss Ron Paul's superior personal integrity, and to contrast him with John McCain.

I brought up the snarky remark he made in the debate last night--"We'll miss you tomorrow night, Ron," --and the horrific injustice of Fix News leaving him out of the debate tonight, despite the fact he is polling ahead of some of those included. I mentioned who has raised the most money over the past 100 days.

Then I tore into McCain's record saying he:

1> Should be in jail for his involvement in the "Keating 5" S& L scandal
2> His horrible treatment of the families of POW-MIAs seeking info on their loved ones
3> His horrible first-amendment-wrecking McCain-Feingold Bill
4> And even rumors of special treatment while a POW

I then said, "I can not believe that despite all this stuff, he is SUPPOSEDLY LEADING THE POLLS IN NH!"

I finished by saying, "Come on people, WAKE UP!"

By far McCain's biggest weakness among GOP voters is his McCain-Kennedy Amnesty & Immigration Acceleration bill. His campaign tanked after his second attempt to get it through the Senate. The Heritage Foundation dissected it: it would have been the largest increase in the welfare state in the nation's history, and would have, thanks to chain migration and increased immigration rates brought in 80+ million immigrants in just two decades. It would have quickly altered the face of the nation. Pat Buchanan called it the Final Solution for traditional America. That is what Ron needs to attack McCain on (even though a lot of his supporters probably agree with McClown on this one). But Ron Paul IS running for the Republican nomination.

Thanks for what you're doing. I wish I'd seen it. I watch CSPAN a lot.

True, but others had already beat him up on that, and most people already know about that, so I didn't waste time with it.

EXCELLENT! Let's flood talk radio (especially those programs that air in NH) with the truth about McCain today, tomorrow and Tuesday!

No no ... I like how you got those other skeletons out there, too! Plenty of talk about the 100 year war proposal by McCain will take place - don't worry about that...

... that comment will haunt McCain until at least 11/4/2008....

Let's use the bad guy's tricks against them - "talking points" which are "on message" focused on one particular opponent each Monday ( unless breaking news changes things that week )
