It is 70 here in Texas today and in North Dakota where I have one of my businesses it is almost 40.

Edit: I don't buy into Global Warming that much, just sayin.

No one is arguing global cooling. ;)

They realized that they painted themselves in a corner by defining their global taxation agenda as combating "Global Warming". As the article points out, there was no warming for the last 9 years. So the latest code word is "Climate Change"- every bit as menacing sounding, but so much less burdensome to prove.
Look up Barrack Obama's website - the pages with the campaign issues. Under environment there is not a single mention of "Global Warming", but multiple- at least 6- mentions of "Climate Change". I'm sure Hillary's and others' websites are the same way.
We need to call them on it every chance we get, because global carbon taxes with no single nation having any influence over their spending is the worst idea for developed nations.

{EDIT}
so I went and quickly looked up their websites. Hillary is in process of changing her terminology- Global Warming and Climate Change appear to be mentioned about the same number of times (possibly because of reusing of old paragraphs).
Edwards didn't get the memo yet. On his Issues pages Global Warming dominates 10 to 1 over Climate Change. I guess he is more of an outsider than I thought. He still is riding on the environmentalist scare tactics but is not up to snuff on the latest talking points from IPCC.

Look at the bottom row "glaciation". Read this row from right to left. The current time period is on the left.

Notice that after reaching "hot points" twelve previous occasions there was always a rapid decline in global temperatures.

Notice that this is somewhat cyclical though the cycles vary significantly.

The key is to understand that earth's climate is influenced by many forces, not all of which we even know about yet...

What influence does orbital dynamics within our solar system play?

What influence does orbital dynamics of the Milky Way galaxy play?

What influence does galactic dust play?

What causes the significant variations in the intensity of solar radiation reaching earth?

What are the implications of our solar system crossing and re-crossing the "galactic ecliptic"?

Is dramatic global cooling about to begin?

Is this why? (http://alignment2012.com/)

Just pony up another few bucks in the collection plate at the Most High Church Of The Algore. You'll get your global warming, backslider.
