At the 5:40 mark.
The question posed was related to the Constancy of one's Principles and Philosophy, and John's Answer began like this:

"the principles and philosophy I hold, I've held since I raised my hand at age 17 as a midshipman in the United States Naval Academy to uphold this nation's honor, to serve it, call Americans to sacrifice and serve for their nation and defend the greatest nation in the world"

Well, that's great John, but what does one actually swear when they enlist in the US Military?

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

now, to be fair at the 7:20 mark John references the Declaration of Independence and how we have unalienable rights, but what about our Constitution? Oh well, so John had a little memory lapse, its understandable considering that that oath happened when he was 17 and now he's 72...
but then you remember that John's served 3 terms in the House of Reps and is going on his 4th term as a US Senator and every time one is elected (thats 7 times for him!) one swears an oath, and it goes something like this:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: SO HELP ME GOD."

so my question to Senator McCain is simple. After taking what is essentially the same oath 8 times, how could you omit the central object of that oath, the Constitution of the United States, and replace it with something as vague and ambiguous as "honor"?

for the sake of full disclosure, when asked the same question, only Ron Paul and Fred Thompson cited the Constitution. Huckabee did quote/paraphrase the Declaration as well.

I noticed this as well. Their ignorance of the Constitution is disgusting.

Yeah. He did mention in small talk to RP that he could use RP to help fight inflation.
