huge service industry in Nevada makes substantial portion of income from tipping.. no reason they should vote for anyone else besides Ron Paul...

PLEASE let all casino employess know that the only person to fight for them is RON PAUL... no taxes on tips and elimination of income tax

My girlfriend works at the Venetian and she said she heard people talking about this all day the other day. I was surprised since I had just read that Dr. Paul proposed this bill that day and word had already spread about it.

Definitely seems to be a popular idea around here.

That's all fine and good but Nevada's caucus is closed. Only registered Republicans can participate, and not too many of the casino workers are Repubs.

We have been pushing the issue. I drop a No Taxes on Tips slim at every bar, valet, cab, restraunt, etc. I go to.

Another GREAT (if not even better than the tips) issue is Yucca Mountain. Campaign has been hitting that hard with radio ads.

But what we really need are delegates. Plain & simple. It's actually not a hugely complex process in NV, any registered Republican is eligible to become a delegate. Our problem is making sure that all of our supporters know that, and know that it's very important that they become delegates.

Right now (in Reno at least) we've been working this like the "Precinct Captain" program. Each of us is responsible for winning our individual precincts, and becoming delegates. We have training meetings (at least) once a week that cover the caucus and how to canvass your neighborhood to find votes.

Where we could use help is finding more "Precinct Captains." We've got a group phoning 'empty' precincts trying to identify a RP supporter who will step up and take his precinct. We've got a group doing that right now. They could probably use some help. Anyone who's interested please PM me.
