My fellow asst. organizer had scheduled a meetup for today that included a sneak peek at our soon-to-be-operational campaign office and the erecting of a 4x8 RP sign on a nearby property. Only 8 RSVP'd but over 25 showed up, and the whole thing turned into a spontaneous sign-waving that lasted nearly 3 hours. The response from drivers was tremendous! A steady of stream of honks and waves the whole time, with the obligatory 3 or 4 thumbs down/middle finger/FU.
Amazing, AMAZING results! We even got two reporters from the local media to come out and interview us on camera. :)
